Carol Dean joined North Willamette Valley Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors in November of 2021. She works as an Administrative Supervisor for the Indian Health Service (IHS) in Portland. She lives in Vancouver, Wash., with her husband, Jason, and their two children.
Carol is new to Habitat and is excited to learn more about the organization and how she can help.
“Poverty and homelessness are an obvious problem in many parts of both Washington and Oregon,” she said. “I believe my work on the board will assist Habitat in bringing independence and economic success to lives touched by the program.”
Carol graduated from the University of South Dakota, where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting.
She’s an active member of her church, serving as a Sunday school teacher and now Fellowship Director.
