April 25, 2022--Dr. Virgil Peters embodies Habitat’s mission, so it’s fitting that our largest housing project to date is named after him and his family. The 89-year-old Mt. Angel resident was one of the affiliate’s first board members.

Jan. 31, 2022—The Ortega family received the keys to their Habitat home on Monday! It was the first time we have done a virtual home dedication. Normally, we would host a big event and invite our volunteers, donors and sponsors to tour the home and congratulate our partner family.

November 2021—As we head into the Thanksgiving holiday, I have been reflecting on everything that I am thankful for. I know it is the same old thing we hear this time of year; it is almost a cliché. We can all agree that the last three years have not been the same.
