Carson Lord joined the NWV Habitat Board of Directors in June of 2020. He owns and operates Tree Frog Nursery in Silverton, where he lives with his wife, Colette, and their three children.

“I am a strong believer in the mission of Habitat and hope I can offer some assistance,” Lord said. “The stability, security and financial independence that comes with home ownership cannot be overestimated. I believe the positive effects on the family and our community are profound multi-generational.”

Carson holds an MBA from George Fox University and a BFA (in advertising) from School of Visual Arts New York.

Prior to Habitat, he served on multiple nonprofit boards, including: Elizabeth Ashley Hoke Memorial Trust, Oregon Garden Foundation, Oregon Association of Nurseries, Silver Falls Soccer Club and Oregon State Noxious Weed Board.
