Jeff Schmidt joined the NWV Habitat Board of Directors in November of 2020. He’s a retired general contractor with 37 years of experience in the construction industry.
Jeff grew up in Mount Angel and Silverton. He and his wife of 35 years, April, currently live in Canby. They have two adult children, Jake and Zoe.
He’s new to Habitat for Humanity. He was looking for an opportunity to support a cause focused in the Willamette Valley.
“Habitat is important because it gives people a chance to step up to home ownership through their own hard work and personal financial responsibility,” he said.
Previous volunteer experience includes serving on the Governors Apprenticeship Board and American Concrete Institute.
