We build strength, stability and self-reliance through shelter.

With your help, we build homes, communities and hope.

Founded with the vision and energy of Ivo Bauman in 1986, North Willamette Valley Habitat for Humanity is the second of 23 affiliates established in Oregon. In the last 39 years, 51 homes have been constructed by volunteers and purchased by local Habitat families serving the communities of the North Willamette Valley.

Our Current Project

Peters Garden in Silverton:

North Willamette Valley Habitat for Humanity is working on a planned development in Silverton, Oregon that will house up to 18 local families.

This project, the largest to date for our affiliate, is the first step in addressing a grave shortage of affordable housing within our rural community.  We are currently building homes five, six, seven, and eight within the development, which sits on a 1.9-acre lot off Schemmel Lane, across from Silverton High School.
